Newest NYRA board meets this week

The first board meeting of the latest incarnation of the New York Racing Association, Inc. will take place this Wednesday, at 3 pm in Manhattan. New board chair David Skorton, the president of Cornell University, announced last month that all NYRA board meetings would be open to the public, in accordance with New York State’s Open Meetings Law.

The meeting will be held at the Empire State Development Corporation, 633 Third Avenue, in the 37th floor conference room. The expected agenda and other materials will be posted on NYRA’s website in accordance with the Public Officers Law.

The meeting will be streamed live at NYRA’s website. Members of the public who would like to attend should RSVP by calling NYRA Customer Service at 718-659-3551.
