In November, shortly after moving to a Brooklyn short-term sublet, former ticket broker Chad Brown put his two tickets to the Alabama-Notre Dame game on Craigslist in the hope not of selling them, but of trading them for six months of housing (story here). He estimated that the tickets were worth about $8,000, and at the time, a hassle-free move was more valuable to him than the cash he’d get from a straight sale.
